Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he said: "Musa (peace be upon him) was extremely modest and would cover his body, and due to his modesty, no part of his body could be seen. Some individuals from Bani Israel caused him harm and said: The reason he covers his body to such an extent is only because there is some defect in his body, or he has leprosy, or his private parts are enlarged, or he has some other illness. So, he began to bathe and placed his clothes on a stone, then the stone ran away with his clothes. He (Musa, peace be upon him) also ran after it. The Bani Israel saw him (naked) and found him to be the best of men. Thus, Allah made his innocence clear from the accusation. That is why Allah the Exalted said: O you who believe! Do not be like those who caused harm to Musa (peace be upon him), and Allah declared him innocent of what they alleged."

Abu Zar’ah narrated: I entered a house in the company of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), which was being built in Madinah for Sa’id or Marwan. When Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) performed ablution, he washed his hands up to the armpits and his feet up to the knees. I said to Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): What is this? He replied: This is the utmost limit of purification (the final extent of attaining purity). The narrator stated: He saw a painter making a picture in the house, so he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, says: Who can be more unjust than the one who tries to create like My creation? Let them create a particle, let them create a grain.”
