It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) in a marfu’ report that:“When the night of the fifteenth of Sha’ban comes, stand in prayer during its night and fast during its day. Indeed, Allah Almighty descends to the lowest heaven after sunset on that night and proclaims: Beware! Who is there who seeks forgiveness from Me, so that I may forgive him? Who is there who seeks provision from Me, so that I may provide for him? Who is there who is afflicted or in distress, so that I may grant him relief? Beware! Is there so-and-so, is there so-and-so, until the dawn breaks.”
