Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that (his maternal aunt) Sayyida Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated to me a hadith that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) once took a midday nap in her house. When he woke up, he was smiling. Sayyida Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I asked,“O Messenger of Allah! What made you smile?”He replied:“I saw (in a dream) some people from my Ummah riding on the sea (going out for jihad) as kings ride on thrones (ascend).”I said:“Pray to Allah for me that He makes me among them.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“You will be among them.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then slept again, and when he woke up, he was again smiling. I asked:“O Messenger of Allah! Why are you smiling?”He replied:“I saw some people from my Ummah riding on the sea as kings sit on thrones.”I said:“O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He makes me among them.”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“You will be among the first group.”

The narrator said: Sayyiduna ‘Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) married her (Sayyida Umm Haram, may Allah be pleased with her) and took her with him in the naval expedition, and on the return, a mount was brought near for her so that she could ride it, but it threw Sayyida Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) down, crushed her neck, and she passed away.
