The Book of Fasting
باب النهي عن صوم الدهر لمن تضرر به او فوت به حقا او لم يفطر العيدين والتشريق وبيان تفضيل صوم يوم وإفطار يوم:
Chapter: Prohibition of Fasting for a lifetime for the one who will be harmed by that or who will neglect other duties, or does not break his fast on the two 'Ids or during the days of At-Tashriq; It is better to fast alternate days

وحدثنيه محمد بن حاتم ، حدثنا محمد بن بكر ، اخبرنا ابن جريج : بهذا الإسناد، وقال: إن ابا العباس الشاعر اخبره، قال مسلم: ابو العباس السائب بن فروخ من اهل مكة ثقة عدل.
This hadith has been narrated by Ibn Juraij with the same chain of transmitters. Imam Muslim has narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu 'Abbas al-Sa'ib bin Farrukh and he was a trustworthy and reliable (narrator) among the people of Makkah.
