Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah (RA) narrated on the authority of his father (RA) that they went with the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) on an expedition to Hudaibiya. He (further) said: They had entered upon the state of Ihram except I for 'Umrah. He (again) said: I (Abu Qatadah (RA)) hunted a wild ass and fed my companions in the state of their being Muhrim. I then came to the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and informed him that we had with us the meat that was left out of it. Thereupon he said: Eat it while they were in the state of Ihram.
