The Book of Marriage
باب نكاح المتعة وبيان انه ابيح ثم نسخ ثم ابيح ثم نسخ واستقر تحريمه إلى يوم القيامة:
Chapter: Mut'ah Marriage: It was permitted then abrograted, then permitted then abrogated, and it will remain Forbidden until the day of resurrection

وحدثنا عثمان بن ابي شيبة ، حدثنا جرير ، عن إسماعيل بن ابي خالد ، بهذا الإسناد مثله، وقال: ثم قرا علينا هذه الآية، ولم يقل: قرا عبد الله،
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jarir with the same chain of transmitters and he also recited this (above-mentioned verse) to us, but he did not say that 'Abdullah recited it.
