It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“The account of a man from among the people before you was taken, and no good deed was found for him except that he used to mix with people and was wealthy, so he would order his servants to show leniency to those in difficulty. So Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: We are more deserving of doing that than he was, so Allah forgave him.”
