باب ليعزم الدعاء؛ فإن الله لا مكره له
Chapter: Be firm in supplication; Allah cannot be forced
Hadith Number: 476
476/608 عن انس قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إذا دعا احدكم، فليعزم في الدعاء، ولا يقل: [وفي رواية: إذا دعوتم الله فاعزموا في الدعاء ولا يقولن احدكم/659) اللهم إن شئت فاعطني، فإن الله لا مستكره له".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you supplicates, he should do so with full determination, and he should not say (and in one narration: When you supplicate to Allah, supplicate with full determination, and none of you should say): 'O Allah! If You wish, give me,' because there is no one who can compel Allah."
