باب إذا لم يحمد الله لا يشمت
Chapter on Not Responding if Allah Is Not Praised
Hadith Number: 716
716/931- عن انس قال: عطس رجلان عند النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فشمت احدهما، ولم يشمت الآخر، فقال: شمت هذا ولم تشمتني؟ قال:" إن هذا حمد الله، ولم تحمده"(1).
716/931- Narrated Anas: Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet, peace be upon him. He said "Yarhamuk Allah" to one of them, but did not say it to the other. The latter said, "You said it to him but did not say it to me?" He said: "This one praised Allah, but you did not praise Him."(1).
