(The Emphasis on Speaking Truth Even in Jest)
Hadith Number: 4885
الفصل الثاني 4885 - عن ابي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قال: قالوا: يا رسول الله إنك تداعبنا. قال:"إني لا اقول إلا حقا". رواه الترمذي.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "O Messenger of Allah! You joke with us?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "I only speak the truth." Its chain is Hasan. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi.
تخریج الحدیث: ´تحقيق و تخريج: محدث العصر حافظ زبير على زئي رحمه الله` «إسناده حسن، رواه الترمذي (1990 وقال: حسن)»
