It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that marks had appeared on her hands from grinding flour. During this time, some captives had come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from somewhere. When Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) found out, she came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a request for a servant, but did not find him. So she informed Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and returned. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned, Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him of Sayyidah Fatimah’s (may Allah be pleased with her) visit. So, at night, when we had already lain down on our beds, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came. We wanted to stand up, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Stay in your places.”Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sat down with us—so much so that I felt the coolness of his feet—and said:“Shall I not tell you something that is better for you than a servant? When you lie down on your bed, say Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times.”
