حديث أبى قتادة الأنصاري رضي الله عنه
Hadith of Abu Qatadah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 22624
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن سعد بن إبراهيم ، قال: سمعت رجلا ، قال سعد: كان يقال له مولى ابي قتادة، ولم يكن مولى يحدث , عن ابي قتادة : انه اصاب حمار وحش، فسالوا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو محرم، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ابقي معكم منه شيء؟ قال شعبة: ثم سالته بعد، فقال: ابقي معكم منه شيء؟ قال: فاكله , او قال:" فكلوه" ، فقلت لشعبة: معنى قوله لا باس به، قال: نعم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he hunted a wild donkey. When they reached the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), they asked about it. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of Ihram. He said, "Do you have any of it left with you?" Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it or permitted the people to eat from it.
