حديث حذيفة بن اليمان عن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 23403
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا الاوزاعي ، عن يحيى بن ابي كثير ، عن ابي قلابة ، قال: قال ابو عبد الله لابي مسعود، او قال ابو مسعود لابي عبد الله يعني حذيفة : ما سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول في زعموا؟ قال: سمعته يقول: " بئس مطية الرجل" .
Abu Qilabah says that once one of Hazrat Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the other, "What have you heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say regarding the phrase 'People say'?" The other replied, "I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say that this is the worst mount of a person."
