Hadith of Lady ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) - Subchapter Index
Hadith Number: 24141
حدثنا ابن إدريس ، قال: سمعت عبيد الله بن عمر ، واخبرنا مالك بن انس ، عن طلحة بن عبد الملك ، عن القاسم ، عن عائشة، قالت: قال: رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من نذر ان يطيع الله عز وجل، فليطعه، ومن نذر ان يعصي الله عز وجل، فلا يعصه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever makes a vow to do an act of obedience to Allah should obey Allah, and whoever makes a vow to do an act of disobedience to Allah should not disobey Him.
