مسند عبد اللہ بن العباس بن عبد المطلب رضي اللہ عنهما
Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 2441
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا سريج ، حدثنا عباد يعني ابن العوام ، عن الحجاج ، عن الحكم ، عن ابي مقسم ، عن ابن عباس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" خطب ميمونة بنت الحارث , فجعلت امرها إلى العباس , فزوجها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a marriage proposal to Sayyidah Maymunah bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her). She entrusted her matter to Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), and he married her to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
حكم دارالسلام: حسن، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، لتدليس الحجاج
