Supplement to the Musnad of ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith Number: 24905
حدثنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، قال: اخبرنا هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت: " قبض رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وراسه بين سحري ونحري، قالت: فلما خرجت نفسه، لم اجد ريحا قط اطيب منها" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha that at the time of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) passing, his blessed head was between my throat and chest, and when the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him) departed, there came a fragrance with it which I had never experienced before.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ: 1389، م: 2442
