Musnad of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 6478
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق ، اخبرني ابن لهيعة ، عن يزييد بن ابي حبيب ، عن عمرو بن الوليد ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:" من قال علي ما لم اقل فليتبوا مقعده من النار". (حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) ونهى عن الخمر، والميسر، والكوبة، والغبيراء، قال:" وكل مسكر حرام".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever attributes something to me which I have not said, he should make his abode in Hell. Also, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), prohibiting wine, gambling, chess, and the wine of chena, said: "Every intoxicating thing is forbidden."
حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف، عمرو بن الوليد مجهول
