Musnad of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 7086
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا محمد بن عبيد ، حدثنا زكريا ، عن عامر ، سمعت عبد الله بن عمرو ، سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول:" المسلم من سلم الناس من لسانه ويده، والمهاجر من هجر ما نهى الله عنه".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe, and a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.
حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، خ:6484.
