Hadith Number: 718
Nuaim bin Dajjajah says that once Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Is it you who said that a hundred years will not pass over the people before there remains no eye on the earth that blinks, meaning all people will die?" What the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) actually said was that among those who are alive today, after a hundred years, there will not remain any eye that blinks, meaning it does not refer to the Day of Judgment. By Allah! After a hundred years, this Ummah will receive ease.
