Chapter on Actions Regarding Ghusl After Major Impurity
Hadith Number: 100
وحدثني، عن وحدثني، عن مالك، انه بلغه، ان عائشة سئلت عن غسل المراة من الجنابة، فقالت: " لتحفن على راسها ثلاث حفنات من الماء، ولتضغث راسها بيديها"
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was informed that Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked: How should a woman perform ghusl after janabah? She said: She should pour three handfuls of water over her head with both hands filled, and she should rub her head with both hands.
