Sharjeel bin Simt said to Amr bin Abasah Salmi (may Allah be pleased with him): O son of Abasah! Will you narrate to me a hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in which there is no addition, no falsehood, and not narrated from anyone except you who heard it from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: Yes. Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Verily, Allah the Exalted says: "Indeed, I have made My love obligatory for those who unite with each other for My sake. Indeed, I have made My love obligatory for those who mix with each other for My sake. Indeed, I have made My love obligatory for those who spend on each other for My sake. Indeed, I have made My love obligatory for those who help each other for My sake."
