باب بيان ثبوت الوضوء بعد أكل الجبن أو ما مسته النار
Chapter: Clarification of the affirmation of ablution after eating cheese or what has been touched by fire
Hadith Number: 24
حدثني محمد بن عثمان بن كرامة ، ثنا خالد بن مخلد ، ثنا عبد السلام بن حفص ، عن إسماعيل بن ابي حكيم ، عن عمر بن عبد العزيز ، عن عبد الله بن إبراهيم بن قارظ ، انه راى ابا هريرة يتوضا فوق ظهر المسجد، فقال: ما هذا الوضوء؟ قال ابو هريرة: وما تدري مما اتوضا! اتوضا من اثوار اقط، وإني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " توضئوا مما مست النار" .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Ibrahim Zahri that he saw Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) performing ablution on the roof of the mosque, so he asked him, "With what are you performing ablution?" Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "Do you not know why I am performing ablution? I am performing ablution because I ate a piece of cheese, and I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Perform ablution after eating something cooked on fire.'"
