( 120) باب استحباب مسح الرأس باليدين جميعا ليكون أوعب لمسح جميع الرأس، وصفة المسح، والبدء بمقدم الرأس قبل المؤخر فى المسح.
Chapter 120: Recommendation to wipe the head with both hands for thoroughness, and how to wipe, starting with the front
Hadith Number: 156
نا سعيد بن عبد الرحمن المخزومي ، نا سفيان بن عيينة ، عن عمرو بن يحيى المازني ، عن ابيه ، عن عبد الله بن زيد ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " توضا فغسل وجهه ثلاثا، وغسل يديه مرتين، ثم مسح براسه، وبدا بالمقدم، ثم غسل رجليه"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution, he washed his blessed face three times, and washed both his hands twice, then wiped his head and (in wiping) started from the forehead, then washed both his feet.
