(39) باب ذكر الخبر المفسر للفظة المجملة التى ذكرتها، والدليل على أن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم إنما أمر بأن يشفع بعض الأذان لا كلها، وأنه إنما أمر بأن يوتر بعض الإقامة لا كلها،

Hadith Number: 372
قال: سمعت محمد بن يحيى، يقول: ليس في اخبار عبد الله بن زيد في قصة الاذان خبر اصح من هذا، لان محمد بن عبد الله بن زيد سمعه من ابيه، وعبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى لم يسمعه من عبد الله بن زيد
Muhammad bin Yahya states that among the narrations of the story of the Adhan from Abdullah bin Zaid, there is no narration more authentic than this one because Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Zaid heard it from his respected father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid). And Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila did not hear this narration from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid.
