Chapters on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
Hadith Number: 824
نا بندار، ثنا يحيى، ح وثنا محمد بن العلاء بن كريب، نا ابن بشر، قالا: ثنا هشام، ح وثنا سلم بن جنادة، ثنا وكيع، عن هشام بن عروة، بمثل حديث حماد، عن هشام، غير ان في حديث وكيع، وابن بشر: " وانا معترضة بينه وبين القبلة، فإذا اراد ان يوتر ايقظني فاوترت" . وفي حديث بندار:" يصلي من الليل وفراشنا بينه وبين القبلة، فإذا اراد ان يوتر اقامني فاوتر"
In the narration of Waki’ and Ibn Bishr, (Lady Aisha says): I used to lie between the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Qiblah, then when the Prophet (peace be upon him) would begin to pray Witr, he would wake me up and I would also pray Witr.
In the narration of Bundar, it is stated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to pray at night while our bed was between him and the Qiblah, then when he would begin to perform Witr, he would wake me up and I would also perform Witr.
