Hadith Number: 444
حدثنا إسحاق بن منصور ، قال: انا بشر بن عمر الزهراني ، قال: ثنا مالك ، عن نافع ، عن نبيه بن وهب ، عن ابان بن عثمان، عن عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا ينكح المحرم ولا ينكح ولا يخطب" .
Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muhrim (one in the state of Ihram) cannot perform his own marriage, nor can he arrange the marriage of another, nor can he send a proposal of engagement.
