Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“When you see a funeral and are not able to go with it, then stand for it until it passes by you or is placed down.”The narrator says: Sometimes Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would go ahead of the funeral, so he would sit down, then when he saw it in front of him, he would stand until it was placed down, and sometimes he would go out of sight.
