باب ذكر نيابة الإمام عن قراءة المأمومين
Chapter on the imam substituting for the recitation of the followers

حدثنا محمد بن مخلد ، ثنا احمد بن علي بن سلمان المروزي ، نا احمد بن سيار المروزي ، ثنا عبدان ، عن خارجة ، عن ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" من صلى خلف الإمام فإن قراءة الإمام له قراءة" . قال ابو الحسن: رفعه وهم، والصواب عن ايوب، وعن ابن علية ايضا.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs prayer behind the Imam, the recitation of the Imam is considered as his recitation." Abu al-Hasan has transmitted this as a marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) hadith, and this is an error.
