Chapter on pre-emption (shuf'ah)

نا إسماعيل بن محمد الصفار، نا العباس بن محمد، نا يحيى بن ابي بكير، نا حماد بن سلمة، عن إياس بن معاوية، عن القاسم بن محمد، قال:" إذا ادعى الرجل الفاجر على الرجل الصالح الشيء الذي يرى الناس انه كاذب، وانه لم يكن بينهما معاملة لم يستحلف له".
Qasim bin Muhammad narrates that when a sinful person makes a claim against a righteous person, about whom people believe that the claimant is lying, and there is no matter between the two, then the righteous person will not be asked to take an oath.
