Chapter on the prohibition of praying after Fajr and after Asr

ثنا ثنا يزيد، ثنا محمد، نا وكيع ، نا افلح بن حميد ، عن القاسم بن محمد ، قال: كنا ناتي عائشة قبل صلاة الفجر، فاتيناها يوما وهي تصلي فقلنا لها: ما هذه الصلاة؟ قالت:" نمت عن جزئي الليلة فلم اكن لادعه" .
Qasim bin Muhammad narrates: We went to the service of Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) before the morning prayer. One day we went to her and she was performing prayer at that time. We asked her: "Which prayer is this?" She replied: "I had fallen asleep at night and was not able to perform some nawafil, so I did not want to leave them."
