It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) (this is a long hadith, narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him), the complete hadith will come in the chapter of Isra, at this point the following part is required:) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty made fifty prayers obligatory upon my Ummah. So I returned with these things, and when I passed by Musa (peace be upon him), he said: What has your Lord made obligatory upon your Ummah? I said: Fifty prayers have been made obligatory upon them. Hearing this, Musa (peace be upon him) said: Speak to your Lord, your Ummah will not have the strength for this action. So I spoke to my Lord, and Allah Almighty forgave half of the prayers. Then I returned to Musa (peace be upon him) and informed him, but he again said: Speak to your Lord again, for your Ummah will not have the strength for so many prayers. So I spoke to my Lord again, and Allah Almighty said: These are five and these are fifty; My word is not changed with Me.
