باب ذكر إبراهيم الخليل وفضله عليه و على نبينا الصلاة والسلام
Chapter: Mention of Ibrahim the Friend (Khalil) and his virtue, peace be upon him and upon our Prophet, blessings and peace
Hadith Number: 10341
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يقص شاربه وكان ابوكم إبراهيم من قبله يقص شاربه
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to trim his moustache, and before him, your father Ibrahim (peace be upon him) also used to trim his moustache.
تخریج الحدیث: «اسناده ضعيف، سماك بن حرب حسن الحديث الا ان في روايته عن عكرمة، فان فيھا اضطرابا، أخرجه الترمذي: 2760، (انظر مسند أحمد ترقيم الرسالة: 2738 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 2738»
