باب ما جاء فى إسلام عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه
Chapter: What has been reported regarding the conversion of Umar bin al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him
Hadith Number: 10541
عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال اللهم اعز الإسلام باحب هذين الرجلين إليك بابي جهل او بعمر بن الخطاب فكان احبهما إلى الله عز وجل عمر بن الخطاب
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Grant dominance to Islam through the one who is more beloved to You between Abu Jahl and Umar bin Khattab. Thus, Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) was more beloved to Allah Almighty.
