باب أمر الصبيان بالصلاة وما جاء فيمن رفع عنهم القلم
Chapter on Commanding Children to Pray and What Has Been Reported Regarding Those for Whom the Pen Is Lifted
Hadith Number: 1096
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((رفع القلم عن ثلاث، عن النائم حتى يستيقظ وعن الصبي حتى يحتلم وعن المجنون (وفي رواية: وعن المعتوه) حتى يعقل))
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The pen has been lifted from three persons: from the one who is sleeping until he wakes up, from the child until he reaches puberty, and from the insane person until he regains sanity.
