باب ما جاء فى بعض خطبه فى حجة الوداع
Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding Some of His Sermons During the Farewell Pilgrimage
Hadith Number: 10972
عن علي بن مدرك قال سمعت ابا زرعة يحدث عن جرير وهو جده عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال في حجة الوداع يا جرير استنصت الناس ثم قال في خطبته لا ترجعوا بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on one occasion during the Farewell Pilgrimage: O Jarir! Make the people quiet. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said in his sermon: Do not become disbelievers after me, that you start cutting each other's necks.
