Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding His Physical Description, Proportion of His Limbs, Symmetry of His Parts, and the Perfections Allah Gathered in Him

عن اشعث انه قال لشيخ من بني مالك بن كنانة راى النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم انعت لنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال بين بردين احمرين مربوع كثير اللحم حسن الوجه شديد سواد الشعر ابيض شديد البياض سابغ الشعر
Ash'ath said to an elder of Banu Malik bin Kinanah who had seen the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Describe to us the appearance of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: He was wearing two red garments, of medium height, with a fleshy body, handsome, hair extremely black, complexion extremely fair, and the hair of his head was long.
