باب ما جاء فى زهده ﷺ فى الدنيا بعد عرضها عليه وقنعه بالقليل منها
Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding His ﷺ Renunciation of the World After It Was Offered to Him and His Contentment With Little of It
Hadith Number: 11220
عن ام سلمة رضي الله عنها قالت اكثر ما علمت اتي به نبي الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم من المال بخريطة فيها ثمانمائة درهم
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: To the best of my knowledge, no more than eight hundred dirhams were ever brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a pouch.
