Chapter on the Virtue of Asr Prayer and Clarifying That It Is the Middle Prayer
Hadith Number: 1139
عن سمرة بن جندب رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((الصلاة الوسطى صلاة العصر))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The middle prayer (Salat al-Wusta) is the Asr prayer.
