Chapter on What Has Been Reported Regarding the Virtues and Merits of the Ansar (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith Number: 11541
عن سعد بن عبادة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم ”هذا الحي من الانصار محنة حبهم إيمان وبغضهم نفاق“
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin ‘Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This tribe of the Ansar is a means of testing people; loving them is faith and harboring enmity towards them is hypocrisy.
