Hadith Number: 11568
عن ابن ابي حازم قال جاء رجل إلى علي بن حسين رضي الله عنهما فقال ما كان منزلة ابي بكر وعمر رضي الله عنهما من النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم فقال كمنزلتهما الساعة
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Hazim that a man came to Ali bin Husayn and asked: What was the status of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: (The status of these two personalities was) the same as they hold at this moment.
تخریج الحدیث: «اسناده ضعيف، ابن ابي حازم، لم نعرفه، فان كان عبد العزيز بن ابي حازم، فالاسناد منقطع، لانه لم يدرك علي بن الحسين، (انظر مسند أحمد ترقيم الرسالة: 16709 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 16829»
