Hadith Number: 1164
عن عمر رضي الله عنه قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم يسمر عند ابي بكر الليلة كذلك في الامر من امر المسلمين وانا معه
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to discuss the affairs of the Muslims at night with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and I would also be with them.
