فضل فى نصيحة أبى شريح الصحابيرضي الله عنه لعمرو بن سعيد بن العاص الأموي الوالي على المدينة من قبل يزيد بن معاوية حينما بعث بعثا إلى مكة لمحاربة ابن الزبير بها، وعدم قبوله النصيحة
Section regarding the advice of Abu Shurayh the Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) to Amr ibn Sa'id ibn al-As al-Umawi, the governor of Madinah on behalf of Yazid ibn Muawiyah, when he sent an expedition to Mecca to fight Ibn al-Zubayr, and his rejection of the advice
Hadith Number: 12434
ومن طريق آخر عن ابي شريح العدوي انه قال لعمرو بن سعيد وهو يبعث البعوث إلى مكة ائذن لي ايها الامير احدثك قولا قام به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم الغد من يوم الفتح سمعته اذناي ووعاه قلبي وابصرته عيناي حيث تكلم به انه حمد الله واثنى عليه ثم قال ”إن مكة حرمها الله“ فذكر نحوه
. (Second chain) It is narrated from Saeed Maqbari that when Amr bin Saeed was sending an army towards Makkah, Abu Shurayh Al-Adawi said to him: O Amir! Allow me to tell you the things that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said in his sermon the day after the conquest of Makkah, which my ears heard and my heart remembered. When you said these things, my eyes were looking at you. After praising Allah Almighty, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has declared Makkah sacred, ... . Then he mentioned a narration similar to the previous narration.
