باب ما يقول المستمع عند سماع الأذان والإقامة وبعد الأذان
Chapter on What the Listener Says Upon Hearing the Adhan and Iqamah and After the Adhan
Hadith Number: 1291
عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: كنا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم بتلعات اليمن فقام بلال ينادي فلما سكت، قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم: ((من قال مثل ما قال هٰذا يقينا دخل الجنة))
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the high hills of Yemen. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and began to call the Adhan. When he finished the Adhan, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever says (these words) with certainty in the same way as he (Bilal) has said, he will enter Paradise.
