Chapter on the Virtue of Sitting in Mosques, Going to Them, and the Virtue of Those Living Nearby
Hadith Number: 1329
عن ابي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((إذا رايتم الرجل يعتاد المسجد فاشهدوا عليه بالإيمان، قال الله عز وجل: {إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر}))
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a man who is accustomed to coming and going to the mosque, then bear witness to his faith, because Allah Almighty says: Only those maintain the mosques of Allah who believe in Allah and the Last Day.
تخریج الحدیث: «اسناده ضعيف لضعف دراج بن سمعان في روايته عن ابي الھيثم۔ أخرجه الترمذي: 2617، 3093، وابن ماجه: 802، وابن خزيمة: 1502، وابن حبان: 1721 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 11674»
حكم: اسناده ضعيف لضعف دراج بن سمعان في روايته عن ابي الھيثم۔ أخرجه الترمذي: 2617
