Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“When Allah Almighty created Adam (peace be upon him), He struck his right shoulder and from there white offspring emerged, as small as tiny ants. Then He struck his left shoulder and black offspring emerged, like coals. Then regarding the offspring from the right side, He said: These will go to Paradise and I do not care. And regarding the offspring from the left shoulder, He said: These will go to Hell and I am unconcerned.”
