Chapter on What is Reported Regarding Raising the Gaze, Waving the Hand, and Designating a Specific Place for Prayer
Hadith Number: 1917
عن جابر بن سمرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم انه قال: ((اما يخشى احدكم إذا رفع راسه وهو في الصلاة ان لا يرجع إليه بصره))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you raises his head in prayer, does he not fear that perhaps his eyesight may not return to him?
