Chapter on the Permissibility of Saying Subhanallah, Clapping, and Gesturing in Prayer When Needed
Hadith Number: 1943
It is narrated from Yazid bin Kaisan, he says: I sought permission from Salim bin Abu Ja’d while he was praying, he replied to me by saying“Subhan Allah.”Then when he finished the prayer with salam, he said: When a man is praying, his way of granting permission is to say“Subhan Allah,”and for a woman, it is to clap.
