Chapter on the Two Prostrations in Surah Al-Hajj and the Prostration in Surah Sad
Hadith Number: 2023
عن عقبة بن عامر رضي الله عنه قال: قلت: يا رسول الله! افضلت سورة الحج على سائر القرآن بسجدتين؟ قال: نعم، فمن لم يسجدهما فلا يقراهما
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Has Surah Al-Hajj been given superiority over the rest of the Qur'an because of its two prostrations?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes, and whoever does not perform these prostrations should not recite it."
تخریج الحدیث: «حسن بطرقه وشواھده دون قوله: ((ومن لم يسجدھما فلايقرأھما))، وھذا الاسناد ضعيف۔ أخرجه ابوداود: 1402، والترمذي: 578، (انظر مسند أحمد ترقيم الرسالة: 17364، 17412 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 17547»
حكم: حسن بطرقه وشواھده دون قوله: ((ومن لم يسجدھما فلايقرأھما))
