Abdur Rahman bin Umayyah says that Sayyiduna Habib bin Muslimah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyiduna Qais bin Sa’d bin ‘Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him); this was during the time of the first tribulation. He was mounted on a horse, and he moved back from the saddle and said to him:“Mount (the horse),”but Sayyiduna Qais (may Allah be pleased with him) refused to mount at that place and said:“I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The owner of the mount has more right to ride at its front part.”In response, Sayyiduna Habib (may Allah be pleased with him) said:“I am not ignorant of this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but I fear (an enemy) for you.”
