Hadith Number: 2431
عن السائب بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: ((صلاة القاعد على النصف من صلاة القائم))
Sayyiduna Sa’ib bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The prayer of the one who prays sitting is (in reward and merit) half of the prayer of the one who prays standing.
تخریج الحدیث: «حديث صحيح لغيره، وھذا اسناد ضعيف، ابراهيم بن مهاجر البجلي ليس بذاك القوي، وقائد السائب مجھول أخرجه النسائي في ’’الكبري‘‘: 1367، (انظر مسند أحمد ترقيم الرسالة: 15501 ترقیم بيت الأفكار الدولية: 15586»
